There’s an updated (February 2022) Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide.

The Finance section is updated to include the default capacity of 20,000 AI Builder credits per tenant per month (see page 18), and there’s more detail added on pages 35 and 37 for the capabilities included in Guides and Remote Assist Device licences – see our blog (https://bit.ly/3C0vRIy) if these licences are new to you.

Dynamics 365 Sales Insights capabilities added to Sales Enterprise licences

Microsoft announce that Dynamics 365 Sales Insights capabilities are added to Sales Enterprise licences. It’s not the same capacity that you’d get with a full Sales Insights licence, but Sales Enterprise-licensed users can now make use of Business Card Scanning, Conversation Intelligence, Sales Accelerator, and Lead & Opportunity Scoring.

There’s an updated (December 2021) Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide.

There aren’t major changes: just the addition of Intelligent Order Management capacity where it’s included with other licences (Commerce and Supply Chain Management), and confirmation throughout that the Project Operations app is required for time, expense and invoice functionality. As usual, there’s a change log on page 59 if you need the details of the amendments.

There’s an updated (November 2021) Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide with three main changes.

Firstly, the initial capacity for a Customer Insights licence now includes 10,000 B2B Accounts, and there’s a new Add-on available for an additional 10,000 B2B Accounts.

Secondly, there’s a new app for the Customer Service module called Voice Channel which is licensed via a User SL for users already licensed with a Customer Service Enterprise licence – see our blog for more details: https://bit.ly/3HUKAra.

And finally, Basic and Standard Edge Scale Unit Add-in and Overage licences are available for  Supply Chain Management; this is a good place to learn about SCM Scale Units: https://bit.ly/3r4TrjI.

There’s an updated (September 2021) Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide. There aren’t major changes and you can find a full list of the tweaks that have been made in the Change Log on page 58. If the Guides and Remote Assist mixed reality products are of interest you might want to take a look at pages 19 and 24 where additional tables have been added to show the functionality that could be used by users in different roles.
